Aurora Gaming’s title in Bucharest nearly came apart midway: it lost 2–0 to HEROIC on October 28 and 2–1 to SAW the next day. It then won four series in a row, Astralis, GamerLegion and B8, and a final against Legacy on November 1 that went the distance.

Aurora took the first two maps of that final, Dust II and Mirage, Legacy levelled on Train and Inferno, and Aurora won the decider on Nuke. It was the club’s only title of the season, after seven events without one, and the $400,000 is by far its biggest payout.

Fnatic, the strongest club of the field by our table, lost to Aurora on the opening day and went out in 12th to 14th, while PaiN Gaming, 13th of the field, reached the last eight.
