HEROIC came to Barcelona after 19 events without a title, one of the longest waits of any champion this season, and left without losing a series: four wins, nine maps to three, and a 3–0 final over K27 on July 18 on Nuke, Mirage and Dust II.

K27 had a long last day: before the final it beat Ninjas in Pyjamas, the Episode 2 champion, 2–1 the same day. NiP finished third. HEROIC turned its own Episode 2 result round completely, from seventh to eighth to first.

The pool was split flatly, first place taking a quarter of the $100,000, a winner’s share larger than at only two CS2 events of the season. Nuke was the most played map, ten times in 34.
