m0NESY Team dropped one map in two days in Belgrade, and it came early: a single-map loss on Dust II to baz Team on October 15. The next day it played four series and won every one of them 2–0, among them a rematch with baz Team and the meeting with magixx Team, the eventual runner-up.

Dust II decided this event more than any other map: it was played 10 times in 22, and only one best-of-three needed a third map, Kyousuke Team’s 2–1 over Zweih Team on Dust II, Overpass and Inferno.

The money was concentrated at the top. The $75,000 for first place took 60% of what was paid out by place, a bigger winner’s share than at 67 of the 69 CS2 events we compared, and the places listed paid $125,000 of the announced $130,000.
