CS Asia Championships 2025 was one of the most contested events of the CS2 season: 13 of its 21 best-of-threes went to a third map, more than at 56 of the 60 events we compared, and the final went the full distance, Legacy beating 3DMAX 3–2 on October 19 on Nuke, Dust II, Inferno, Train and Ancient.

Legacy lost one series on the way, to Team Liquid, and won its quarter-final and semi-final 2–1, against FUT Esports and HEROIC. Its path was one of the easier of the season by our table, and the title opened its run of three.

A year later Legacy won the event again, CS Asia Championships 2026, for $400,000, more than two and a half times the $150,000 it took here. Team Liquid finished third after beating HEROIC 2–0.
