Team Spirit dropped one map in six series at PGL Astana 2026, one of the cleanest title runs of the CS2 season, and it did so on one of the hardest paths by our table. It beat MOUZ 2–0 in the semi-final and Team Falcons 3–0 in the final on May 17, on Dust II, Mirage and Ancient.
The final reversed the season’s pattern between the two: before it, Spirit had won only two of its five series against Falcons. The $512,000 first prize is Spirit’s second-largest of the year, behind the Esports World Cup 2026.
Magic, 11th of the field by the table, made the biggest climb and finished fourth, the best result of its season. Few series went the distance, 13 of 40 best-of-threes, and Dust II was played 25 times in 96 maps.
