Vici Gaming won the third season of ESL Challenger China in Shanghai with a heavy last day on May 3, 2026: it beat Xtreme Gaming 2–1 after losing a 70-minute first map, then Team Resilience 3–1 in the final, again after dropping the opener.
It was a reversal of the previous season, where Xtreme won and Vici finished third; this time Xtreme was third and Yakult Brothers, the Season 2 runner-up, fourth. The pool grew by a fifth to $172,000, and the winner took more than half of it.
Radiant won 65.5% of the 29 maps, far above the season’s 50.9%, and the games ran long, a median of 44 minutes. The $90,000 is Vici’s second-largest payout of the season, behind the Esports World Cup 2026.
