3rd-longest of the season’s 59 titles

It is MOUZ’s only title of the season, after 19 tournaments without one — the 3rd-longest wait among the season’s 59 titles. This was the 2nd final between the club and Team Spirit this season. The final was a turnaround: before it, the club had won only 1 of 7 series against this opponent this season. In our season table of 50 clubs with at least 40 maps in our data, it ranks 6th by share of maps won; from this field only Team Spirit ranks higher, and it finished 2nd here.

MOUZ ended a run of 19 events without a title at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 in Malta, one of the longest waits of any champion this season, and it did so against the opponent that had troubled it most: before the final it had won only one of seven series against Team Spirit that season.

In the final on August 2 MOUZ beat Spirit 3–1, on Dust II, Mirage, Ancient and Nuke, after 2–1 wins over 3DMAX and Astralis. PR, who had joined on July 14, was already in the lineup, and the $266,562 is the biggest of MOUZ’s 21 payouts of the season.

No other CS2 event of the season was this close: five of its six best-of-threes went to a third map. FaZe Clan, sixth of the field by our table, reached the semi-finals.
