Natus Vincere has built its Dota 2 lineup almost entirely out of teenagers and twenty-year-olds. Four of the eight youngest players in this table are NaVi’s, including the youngest of all, Niku, and the club’s players average under 20. At the other end are the two Chinese lineups: Yakult Brothers and Xtreme Gaming both average between 28 and 29, and Yakult has the oldest player in the sample.
Starting young is the norm rather than the exception. Nearly half of the players with a known birth date played their first recorded map at 16 or younger, and the earliest start belongs to daze, who was 13 in August 2019 — which means that at 20 he already has seven years of matches behind him.
Late starters are rare but not shut out. tOfu and Ame were both 22 at their first recorded map, later than anyone else in the table. tOfu joined Team Liquid in October 2025, and Ame plays for Xtreme Gaming, runner-up at The International 2025.
