Team Liquid dropped two maps to Team Falcons on August 4 and answered a day later, when it mattered more: after a 2–0 win over 1w Team on August 5 it swept Falcons 3–0 in the final, and two of those three maps ran past an hour, 67 and 63 minutes.

It was Liquid’s third title of the season and its first after seven events without one. Falcons, the strongest club of the field by our table, finished second, and Nigma Galaxy, fourth at the first Essence, ended ninth to tenth this time with no prize money.

The pool doubled from the first edition to $200,000, and half of it went to the winner. Radiant won 58.3% of the 60 maps, against 50.9% across the season.
