PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 brings 16 teams to Bucharest from October 24 to 31 for a $1,250,000 pool, $400,000 of it for first place. The event has moved up a level: the 2025 edition, with the same $1,250,000 pool, was a tier 2 tournament, and its winner, Aurora Gaming, is back to defend the title.

On paper the field is one of the strongest of the season. Seven of the 16 are in the top ten of our season table, led by Team Vitality and Team Spirit, and the leaders of all three regions in Valve’s standings of October 5 are here: Spirit in Europe, Legacy in the Americas and TYLOO in Asia.

These teams know each other well: 84 of the 120 possible pairs have already met this season. No pair has met more often than MOUZ and Team Spirit, 11 series, seven of them won by Spirit. The first round has its own stories. FURIA open against DENDELE CS, who beat them in their only meeting this season, and Team Spirit face BetBoom Team, a pairing that has not been played at all this season.
