Facts and records

Each of the first four Stake Ranked episodes this season went to a different club: G2 Esports in April, Ninjas in Pyjamas in May, HEROIC in July and Astralis on October 4. Astralis is the only one of those champions in this field.
Its Episode 4 win ended a run of 23 tournaments without a title this season, the longest wait of any champion, shared with one other club. Astralis is the defending champion with a changed lineup: HooXi and jabbi moved to its inactive list on October 9, and siuhy and cmtry joined on October 13.
BIG and Fnatic also return from the Episode 4 field, where they finished fifth to sixth and fourth. Fnatic is the strongest entrant by our season table, eighth of 50 by share of maps won. The pool stays at $100,000, and its $25,000 first prize is one of the smallest first-place shares of the season.
