XTQZZZ is a coach whose name was made on the bench rather than on the server: his playing career amounted to two short spells, in 2012 and 2015, and $165 in prize money. Since December 2018 his career has been almost entirely Team Vitality.
He has coached Vitality twice. The first spell ran from December 2018 to December 2021; after that came nine months at G2 Esports in 2022 and just 39 days at TSM in 2023, and in October 2023 he returned to Vitality. apEX and ZywOo, who joined two months before his first arrival, have been on the roster through both of his spells — about six years under the same coach in total.
In the current spell the results speak for themselves: all ten of Vitality’s titles this season came with him on the staff, including both Majors of 2025, in Austin and Budapest.
